PHP memory limit: Welcome to everyone !! In this post, I would like to share the latest technology tips for Cpanel users. Most of the web developers as well as website owner will be facing this problem. Once they upload the huge data files it will show the error, maximum file size only upload.
I will help you to increase the memory limit for uploading files as well as increasing PHP memory limit on your cpanel. Most of the web hosting providers will allocate the maximum upload size and post maximum size is 8MB Only. You can easily increase the default PHP memory allocate limit size on your required size limit.

Just Follow the below simple steps to increase the PHP memory limit on your cpanel :
Step 1: Login to your Cpanel account. and then goes to the software section. Here you will choose the select PHP Version. Check the below image to easily understand.
Step 2: Normally Current PHP will show the native (5.4) as a default. Most of the web hosting Cpanel PHP version choose default version as the Native (5.4). We can’t increase the memory limit in the Default PHP version. Click on the drop-down menu to choose the 5.4 PHP version and click set as a current. If the Default version is Native (5.5) means we need to set it to 5.5. Check the below image to easily understand.
Step 3: If you change the default native version into another version there is an option shown on the right side is called the Switch To Php Options. It’s the very important part to increase the PHP memory limit on cpanel.
Step 4: Click on the Switch To Php Options link. The new page will be opened where you can update the memory limit as well as having more memory option. Just check it. Check the below image to find how the switch to PHP options page will show.
Step 5: In this Switch to PHP options page search the memory_limit, default the value will be shown as the 8 Mb, Click to change the value what you like.. Then final apply Save option at the bottom of the page.
